Dark Blooms is a photographic performance,
a collaboration between artist Carolina Mazzolari, immersive sounds of Lorenzo Brusci &
fashion photographer Matteo Bertolio.
Dark Blooms came from the desire to metaphorically embody how cultural values and social circumstances impose self-consciousness and self – doubt, impacting directly the inner feminine individual aesthetic.
The artist here captures herself seeking integration through allegorical and ironic shapes.
